During her 30 years as a strategy consultant and operations executive, Kim benefitted from and learned the value of having mentors. She developed expertise in cross-functional collaboration and influencing without authority which enabled her to become an advisor to Cisco’s CXOs. Kim’s leadership was recognized by the Professional Business Women of California, the SF Chamber of Commerce, the National Eagle Leadership Institute and the Silicon Valley YWCA.
She has a deep commitment to assisting Pan-Asians in reaching their career goals and developing the soft skills that are critical in executive leadership. While at Cisco, Kim was the executive sponsor for the Asian employee network and created a highly successful nine-month training program for the Asian community (25% of participants were promoted within 12 months of completing the program). Kim graduated magna cum laude in Russian with departmental honors from Bryn Mawr College. She also earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business.
